Abstract
Recently, the Solar & Storage Live Africa exhibition in Johannesburg, South Africa, kicked off. SAVCH Sanji Electric, focusing on Africa’s energy needs, showcased its high-efficiency variable-frequency drives for photovoltaic water pumps, leveraging technological innovation to drive the region’s green energy transition.

Addressing the characteristics of Africa’s power grids—high variability and concentrated solar resources—the inverters showcased by SAVCH feature superior protection, employ advanced maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technology to maximize solar energy utilization, and can accommodate voltage fluctuations from photovoltaic panels under diverse specifications and lighting conditions. Their compact, well‑designed architecture is both space‑efficient and practical. They support DC input from photovoltaic sources and AC output, while also accepting grid‑connected AC input and other power supply modes.
During the exhibition, SAVCH held productive discussions with numerous local exhibitors and received technical consultations from more than 20 companies. Moving forward, SAVCH will continue to advance the evolution of solar‑storage technologies, leveraging Africa as a strategic foothold to explore additional clean‑energy applications and contribute to the global goal of carbon neutrality.
